Brows

Seattle’s Brow Queen

Tina Powers has been Seattle’s best kept eyebrow secret since 2002.

Trained by LA’s legendary Anastasia, Tina’s technique has been honed by more than 2 decades of brow shaping experience. Her detailed brow mapping and design process creates lush, beautifully shaped brows that produce balance, fullness, and style, bridging the gap between your personal style, bone structure and hair growth pattern.

*Waxing is not recommended for those using Retin-A/Tretinoin, Differin, Tazorac, Accutane, have had recent laser treatments, chemical peels, or have taken antibiotics within the last  two weeks.

  • Brow Rx

Includes a detailed consultation and design, waxing and/or tweezing, trimming, and optional use of henna and lamination.

6-8 weeks of grow out is recommended before this initial appointment to achieve optimal results (no waxing, tweezing, threading or trimming)

Microblading

Tina Powers’ signature style of microblading creates the look of fuller, softer brows without using machines or tattoo devices. Sometimes referred to as “micro-feathering,” this technique restores fullness without looking blocky, solid, or unnatural. After numbing the area with a topical cream, incisions are made with a fine, sterile blade. Each hair is precisely etched by hand into the epidermis, then saturated with specialized pigment to create a more hair-like appearance.

All Microblading appointments require a $100 non-refundable deposit when booking.

48 hours notice is required for appointment changes or cancellations, otherwise the full service price will be charged

  • We’ll apply a topical lidocaine for 30 minutes before starting a full consultation and mapping. We then carefully select a shade of ink based on your natural brow color and your skin’s Fitzpatrick level.

A secondary numbing gel is applied after our first pass, then we fine tune during a second and final pass.

Total service time is approimately 90 minutes

  • For 24 hours prior to your service please remember- no alcohol, coffee or ibuprofen. Consuming these products will cause you to bleed more during the service, which will mean the ink will not stay and may end up looking very patchy.

Also, be sure to let me know if you are taking any medications, new or old, since these too may cause more bleeding and patchy results. Especially Accutane, antibiotics, and iron supplements.

    • Do not work out or drink coffee on the day of the procedure

    • Do not drink alcohol or take aspirin, niacin, vitamin E or ibuprofen 24 hours prior

    • Any waxing or tinting of the brows should be done 3 days prior

    • It is best to do a scrub 3 days prior

    • Do not tan (no sun) for one week prior

    • Stop using any Retin-A or AHA products for 2 weeks prior

    • No microdermabrasion, microneedling or dermaplaning for 2 weeks prior

    • No lasers, chemical peels, or botox for 1 month prior

If there's any reason you cannot adhere to these guidelines please reply to this email so that we may reschedule your appointment and/or discuss other options.

    • In the evening, using a cotton round or tissue, gently dab the area to remove excess lymph. DO NOT RUB

    • Wash daily to remove bacteria and dead skin. (this does not remove the pigment.) Gently wash the procedure area each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap like Dial, Cetaphil, or Neutrogena. Use a very light touch with fingertips, rubbing the area in a smooth motion, then rinse with water to ensure all soap is rinsed away. Gently pat dry with a clean tissue. Avoid cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA) or any exfoliants.

    • Skip retinoids, acids, or exfoliants near the treated area for 14 days. Avoid pore-clogging petroleum, runny oils, or scented products that can irritate.

    • Apply a rice grain amount of Aftercare Balm with a cotton swab, spreading it across the treated area. Don’t over-apply, as this can suffocate the skin and delay healing—the gel should be barely noticeable. Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo.

    • A note on showers- limit them to 5 minutes to avoid excessive steam as wet scabs take longer to dry out and heal. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while washing your body, then wash your hair at the end. Be sure your face or procedure area only gets wet at the very last moment, avoiding excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

    • Use a fresh pillowcase and try to sleep on your back to reduce friction on the area.

    • Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of colour.

    • No facials, Botox, chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.

    • Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week.

    • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after theprocedure. Be sure to wear a hat when outdoors.

    • Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days.

    • Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.

    • Avoid swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 10 days.

    • Avoid topical makeup, including sunscreen on the area.

    • Do not rub, pick, or scratch the treated area.

    • Your brows will begin to oxidize immediately, causing the pigment to become darker. This is normal and should fade during the next few days.

    • Fading or loss of color is normal on certain skin types. Color may disappear then reappear days or weeks later.

  • First time service- $710

    Touch-ups after first service

    Before 1 year- $260

    Between 1-2 years- $350

Microneedling and Nano Infusion

Microneedling can promote skin rejuvenation by increasing the production of collagen in your skin. It involves using very small and thin sterilized needles to create micro-punctures in your skin. These needles penetrate the skin at a depth of 0.25 to 1.5mm, depending on the severity of the skin concern and your goals for getting the procedure.

These micro-injuries are meant to kick-start your body’s natural healing process without causing a lot of discomfort. The healing process promotes collagen and elastin production, as well as cell turnover. The result is smoother and firmer skin with a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and deeper acne scars.

While both microneedling and nano-needling penetrate the skin at some level, it’s important to understand the structure of the skin. The epidermis is the topmost layer of skin, preserving its moisture content and protecting it from harm. Meanwhile, the dermis is the middle layer, as well as the thickest layer of skin.

In microneedling, the needles have a deep dermis needle depth of 0.25mm to 1.5mm, That’s where collagen production takes place, making it highly effective for treating deep scars and wrinkles. In contrast, nano needling only penetrates the epidermis, making it effective for faster infusion of active ingredients.

  • Microneedling

We start by cleaning the skin and applying a lidocaine numbing cream for 30 minutes. After removing the lidocaine, we apply an appropriate serum and work in small sections across the cheeks, chin, forehead, and finally any small areas like the nose and upper lip.

Depending on your skin’s condition and tolerance, we may choose to apply a custom mask and/or LED.

    Nano Infusion

We will tailor this treatment to match your skin type, condition, and goals. It provides deep exfoliation and serum infusion.

We begin by cleansing and exfoliating the skin. Hyaluronic serum is applied as we work in small sections across the entire face, avoiding the eyes and lips. We’ll finish with an oxygen serum infusion, custom mask and moisturizer.

The Nano-Infusion device creates a gentle vibration on the skin, requiring no numbing, and is painless.

This is our most effective facial treatment, offering both luxury and results.

  • Common contraindications for microneedling and nano needling include pregnancy, rosacea, psoriasis, active acne, cold sores, sunburn, dermographia, or being prone to keloid scarring.

It’s important to mention what medication or skincare products you’re using, as well as any health conditions we should know about. For instance, if you have a history of cold sores and active Herpes, you’ll need to take antiviral medication two days prior to your treatment sessions.

  • Microneedling

After treatment, avoid makeup and intense exercise for 24 hours.

Redness and swelling is typical in the first 24-48 hours, and ice packs may be helpful.

Some peeling can occur by day 2 or 3, avoid picking or peeling this off.

Use only gentle skincare, avoiding scrubs, acidic exfoliants, topical retinoids and medications for 7 days.

Apply sunscreen daily to protect your skin from sun damage.

    Nano Infusion
